The main activity of the agency is production and managing in the field of arts. The agency provides not only the business and administrative services but also the background for the creative art activity. This is possible thanks to the long experience especially in the area of so called old music and in the area of chamber music of different periods. The attention is being paid on the vocal music. The agency intents to provide both benefit and piece for the artist's work whom it represents. The agency was founded in April 1994 and its ambition is to get the representation for ensembles and artists for whom it provides transparent contracting relations according to the legislation of the Czech republic, international prescriptions related to foreign countries and concrete legislative framework in individual countries. This results in the applying prescriptions for artists who are employed abroad. The production and managementThe Clavis Agency has become the exclusive manager of The Prague Chamber Singers ensemble, for which it sets up concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad, recording CDs, recording for the Czech Radio, etc. It also represents Prague Chamber Choir in some of its activities. The Clavis Agency cooperated e.g. with subjects of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Radio, Czech Television, North-Czech State Philharmonic Orchestra Teplice, recording companies of Supraphon, Orfeo Munchen, Rosa, agencies Stivín Quodlibet System, Slavkoncert, Centrum starej hudby Bratislava, International Music Festival Brno, Music Faculty AMU Prague, National Museum Prague, etc. The Clavis Agency is very fond of the fact that it has already had the possibility to represent some of our most significant soloists such as: Magdalena Kožená, Ludmila Vernerová or Miloslav Podskalský. The Clavis Agency has been entrusted by the Czech Philatelist Organization to provide a music framework for the opening night of International Philatelist Exposition Prague 1998, by Czech Academy of Science to provide concert for the International Science Symposium Třešť 1999 or by the city council in Plasy to provide music framework for the International Art Symposium in Large Scale Paintings 1999 in the cloister in Plasy. The Clavis Agency highly regards the cooperation with the city hall of the capital Prague, which has twice provided the Prague Chamber Singers with financial grant. This allowed the Prague Chamber Singers to realize two of its large unique projects where the second project ended up in recording the first CD for the Supraphon company.
